My first baby cardigan

When my sister gave birth to my latest nephew 5 weeks early, just before Christmas, she was advised he should wear a cardigan/ jumper to keep his temperature at the correct levels. So I searched online and found a basic pattern to make a little cardigan suitable for premature babies. During a trip to Lancaster I bought some lovely soft yarn and star shaped buttons. I started by making the back of the cardigan which was quite easy to do. It's made completely from 11 rows of trebles and measures 6 inches using my trusty 4mm tulip hook and a yummy ball of Stylecraft wondersoft. The front side pieces are made using v stitch and are very simple to whip up. Then you make the 2 sleeves and add cuf
