OUR 2018 IN REVIEW
The last 12 months have been crazy for seriously.hooked.up! This time last year our first social group in Kirkham was beginning to pick up, we had just launched our second social group in Lytham and we had arranged to trial our sessions in Poulton-le-Fylde. We had held brief conversations with the guys from Park View 4U about helping out with a project raising awareness of the importance of bees and wildflowers and we were not prepared for how the bees were going to more or l

The story of #pollencounts
Early in 2018 we were excited to announce our involvement in local charity Park View 4U's amazing #pollencounts project in association with Grow Wild UK. We set up just before 10 with a due scheduled break at 12.30 until 1.30. It was amazing, we never anticipated it being so popular! All day right from 10am we had a constant swarm of exci

Sharing skills and swarms
Last night was Kirkham‘s crochet, knitting and yarn social. The group was well attended. The lovely people had been very busy since last session and we had a new swarm of bees made or being made towards #Pollencounts at #parkview4u. I had the chance to help Kerry make a fluffy soft pom pom for her knitted Easter bunny and then share my C2C skills with Melanie. I can’t wait to see Melanie’s C2C blanket. She definately mastered the square last night. Hers is the yellow one pic

The Bees are buzzing in...
